Propane adaptors

Does anyone know a good online source for propane adaptors?

I picked up a bulk tank recenlty, but apparently the connectors have changed recently and it doesn't match up with the connector the adaptor I got to be able to use it with a propane camp stove and propane lanterns.

I've checked at Home Depot and REI and I've tried looking online as well, but I can seem to find what I need.

AD,
The propane tank connectors changed back in 1999. Prior to Y2K. And no one will sell you propane if you have the 'old' tank. I know. I've got three you can have. Small 20 gallon ones. My new ones are 40's. And I hopefully won't be using them for anything but MAYBE some cooking. MAYBE. I also have two coleman dual fuel stoves, several dual fuel lanterns, and multiple kerosene lamps.

With the necessary fuel to power them all for a LOOONG time.

But I still have multiple propane tanks as back up.

Good luck with finding that adapter. BEFORE you spend your money, go ask the person who fills tanks IF they will fill yours with that adapter on it. You might find that the answer is no. Which is why you probably got a killer deal on the tank in the first place.

NOW, if you can find someone who is selling a replacement VALVE with the new design, drop me a line. Cause in six years the only ones I've found cost more than a new tank with the proper valve already on it.

The tank I have is new, but the bulk tank to camping accessories (camp stove, lantern) adaptor I got apparently fits the old style one (it doesn't fit this one, that's for sure).

I was just reading the bulk tank and apparently it has some patented design that only allows them manufacturer (Blue Rhino) to fill it. Screw that noise, time to go buy an empty one, and then get it filled at U-Haul.
